  The Beach Side Bistro is one of my favorite breakfast spots on the outer banks. You can eat outside on their deck which is steps away from the beach with perfectly clear views of the ocean. This restaurant is as about as close to eating on the beach as you can get on the outer banks (with the exception of the pier house restaurants). The food and service here is also very good and the prices are inexpensive.

  THIEVING WAITRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My favorite place! until I payed our bill and left the tip option blank on the receipt (cause we always leave cash) and the waitress wrote in a $20 tip after my wife signed and we left the bistro!! Had to complain about it after we realized it!!! The manager finally did give us the 20 back and a $ 25 gift card! Needless to say I probably won't go back there again which really ruined it for us !!! I guess she (waitress) didn't realize that we were not vacationers that we were actually locals. No telling how many vacationers this has happened to!!! Would love to go back cause overall it's a great place to eat have drinks and hang out! but we feel now that there will be tension when we are there and will be uncomfortable especially if the same waitress is still there and ends up serving us!!! Sorry can't take the chance of our account being skimmed again!!!!
